Host OS¶
The hypervisor hosts run Ubuntu 26.04 with the Linux 7 kernel and KVM, installed and configured by Claugine automation. The kernel makes live migration of running VMs between hosts smooth, so planned maintenance doesn't stop tenant VMs. GPU servers pass whole GPUs through to a VM (PCI passthrough), never shared or overcommitted.
